Mr. Hitesh Chopra, Founder and Managing Advocate of Chopra and Chopra Advocates and Solicitors, brings over 17 years of extensive experience in litigation, with a strong focus on NCLT and NCLAT matters. He specialises in corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, demergers, and capital and debt reorganisations. His practice also spans constitutional writs, insolvency, mismanagement and oppression petitions, and other commercial and civil litigation. Mr. Chopra regularly advises Indian and international banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions on complex debt and equity transactions, project finance, and cross-border acquisitions, ensuring compliance with Indian banking and exchange control regulations. He has played a key role in numerous debt restructuring assignments and corporate insolvency resolution processes . With a diverse client portfolio across industries such as pharmaceuticals, IT, oil and gas, FMCG, real estate, telecom, and more, Mr. Chopra has led private equity deals, M&A transactions, and corporate restructurings. He also has deep expertise in commercial and retail real estate matters, advising on land acquisitions, SEZs, IT parks, retail spaces, and residential projects.
